This courtyard has seen so many businesses–hair salon, coffee house, spa (?), courtyard restaurant…and so on. I often forget it’s still there. However, this looks like a really neat place to browse and hang out in the courtyard (again!)

Thanks for the blog and keeping the rest of us informed on our rapidly-changing, overly-gentrified city!

I do have a biased opinion, being related to Night-Blooming Shrimp and having my own work in the shop, but this place is something that Old Pasadena badly needed. Despite the historic character of Old Town (it is a National Register of Historic Places District) it is disappointing to walk down Colorado Boulevard and see so few locally-owned venues of any kind. To have a locally-owned and operated shop that goes even one step further by promoting local and independent artisans is the first step in the new direction of returning Old Pasadena to a Pasadena flavor.

Best of luck to Yvonne and Christina, co-owners of Majestical Roof, 0n continued success in their new business.

The Majestical Roof was named after a painting I produced. The Majestical Roof represents the universe as our roof.

Hamlet had his version of it too.

The Majestical Roof is open 7 days a week from Monday through Sunday 11:00A-6:00P.

It’s an amazing little boutique.
