Russian banana fingerlings
Feb 13th, 2007 by Jill
We found these Russian banana fingerling potatoes at the Pasadena farmers’ market last Saturday morning, too. They were sweet. I usually toss baby potatoes with olive oil, capers, dill and salt. These didn’t need capers, and the dill was good but not quite right. If I can find these again next week, I want to try them with sage.

And Happy Valentine’s Day to you and Gavin!
I should start visiting farmers market more often..this is a good price for Russian fingerling..I usually buy them from Whole Food market and pay high price for it.
Which farmers market is the best in the area?
Happy valentines day to you!
Or perhaps just a little rosemary and coarse sea salt?
With those, I just do a little salt and maybe pepper. They have such a nice delicate flavor on their own. Tends to get lost behind an herbal haze.
I’ve also found they do well the yogurt-based dressings. Makes a great savory potato salad.
Oh, neat ideas! Thanks!
