Art Night Pasadena
Mar 10th, 2007 by Jill
Last night we visited Pasadena Jazz Institute and The Armory Center for the Arts.

Walking into the Pasadena Jazz Institute

Paul Lines greeted us at the door and showed us around
There was a large performance space with lots of cozy little tables, and there were separate bar, pool and patio areas where you could hear the music and watch it on screen, but where you could also move around and socialize more or enjoy a little more privacy.

Then we rode the free Art Night shuttle over to the Armory.
Local community ensemble Kan Zaman was there playing classical Arabic music.

Looks like a fun time….art night is such a good idea!
Jill, when you get a chance, check out the two photos I put up on my flickr. The similarities to your (better) photos are amazing. We must have just missed each other.
I beg to differ — your pictures are great! Bummer that we did not manage to meet in person.
One of these days I’m going to have to drive over there on art night - it looks like so much fun.
Awesome pictures! as always!
Oh Tinker, that would be so cool!
