The 15th annual Pasadena Chalk Festival took place last weekend at the Paseo. We were there Saturday afternoon and saw hundreds of drawings in progress.

Pellucidar is the hidden world inside the Earth, which is actually hollow. The molten core of the earth floats in the middle of the planet, see, and it’s like the sun. Naturally, hidden worlds inside the planet core are entirely populated with buff barbarians and buxom wenches wearing bronze bikinis.

I LOVE chalk festivals! We used to have one in Santa Barbara.
Maybe I should get one started around here…
