So it’s open? I was there a couple weeks ago late at night and the entrance was roped off and it looked like the paint on the steps were still wet.

I don’t think it’s officially open yet, but the paint was dry and the ropes were off when I stopped by. I think there’s an opening ceremony next week.

Actually, Jill, the City Hall is open for business, but the OFFICIAL ceremony is next week with the Pasadena POPS (http://www.pasadenalivingmagazine.com/_ArticleManager/publish/article_2307.shtml)
