Buffy is coming!
Jul 22nd, 2007 by Jill
Once More With Feeling, the Buffy the Vampire Slayer musical episode, is coming to South Pasadena’s Rialto theater in September.
(I realize this might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I am one of those people who keeps the soundtrack to this episode in my car, so I felt compelled to announce it.)

Really? Buffy?
I’ve never seen the show (or heard the soundtrack to the musical episode). I assume you’ll be going to see it…enjoy!
Buffy takes what high school feels like and makes it literal. (It’s always the end of the world, you discover the guy you’ve been dating is really a demon, etc.) It’s a pretty wonderful show.
I’m with you in spirit…you must go and report back. I loved the musical episode. Though I love all things Buffy.
I was never a fan of the show but the fact there’s a musical intrigues me.
Aaron Proctor not a fan of Buffy??? We must rectify this somehow.
I guess it’s not as shocking as you might think. Buffy doesn’t even have a huge following in the Goth scene - mostly just with the younger Goth chicks/some of the comic book dudes.
I love vampires, don’t get me wrong..but I’m into Forever Knight and Dark Shadows WAY more.
Oh and old Christopher Hammer films.
And “Vampire: The Masquerade”..well, when I was 15 before I decided roleplaying was silly and getting laid was much better.
You’d also be surprised I actually like “Invisible Touch” by Genesis.
I must, must, must tell this to my friend who is just about the biggest Buffy fan ever. Her blog (http://sarahwallin.blogspot.com) was once named “Once More With Feeling.” She has written about that episode a couple of times, once here: http://sarahwallin.blogspot.com/2006/11/things-you-dont-know-just-by-getting_15.html
