As I sat alone in the big park, eating my tiny left over morsel cause I was late, my only shoes were wet from the tears of being an orphan. Once I lived in a big house near the Arroyo, but Mama and Papa split, I WAS ALL ALONE. No place to go, I decided to join others in the park, walking idly, looking into windows along the way from where I stay in my new home, a cardboard box secluded, but safe, I saw many happy people, (as I can read lips,) they were saying Happy Thanksgiving, while holding glasses of Champagne around the blazing fire in the warmth I am now denied, cause as you know, cardboard boxes are not zoned for fireplaces)
So then, let me say to all of you who enjoy plenty, I hope your Thanks giving was Happy…The Christmas Dinner is coming soon, so if you spare a can of old rutabagas or perhaps some meat flavored treat, look for me and my wet tear-stained shoe (lost one)….
Hi Jill, I am so sorry it has been a while since my last comment. I will be returning to do so more properly shortly. I ask you for a huge favor. I have received a most touching and heart breaking comment on my site. From a 14 year old who’s father is dying of brain cancer. I was so touched I published her short comment as a post. I am asking please for prayers but also short comments be left on my site. I will be emailing her and inviting her to return to what I hope will be a page of love and support for her. I do thank you so much
