Art Night Pasadena is tonight

Come on out and ride free shuttles around town to Pasadena’s art museums and other art and music venues, where admission will be free from 6-10 p.m. For shuttle routes and a list of venues, check out http://www.artnightpasadena.org/.

These are on either side of a walkway that opens into a trash dumpster area behind a couple of buildings at Caltech.

Pasadena Art Night is Friday, March 9 from 6-10 p.m.

Every six months in March and October, Pasadena’s museums and art schools open their doors to the public for free, and free shuttles take people from venue to venue. It’s a pretty neighborly feeling event. It’s fun to ride around in buses with people from all around town and look at art.

Oh, how I love The Majestical Roof. Last night they had an opening for one of their artists, Vanesa Martinelli, so Gavin and I stopped by and had wine in the hidden away courtyard and listened to live music and met Vanesa (who has been painting since she was four and who grew up surrounded by musicians – check out her website or stop by The Majestical Roof and check out her paintings in person).
