Dots Cupcakes, Canon PowerShot SD800 IS

Gavin and I discovered Dots Cupcakes on Boxing Day. It was right next door to Houston’s, so after a juicy veggie burger and some ribeye, we went over to sample their wares.

I had a red velvet cupcake and Gavin had chocolate mocha. They were moist and spongy and delicious.

Red velvet cupcakes at Wheatberry

These red velvet cupcakes from Wheatberry were springy, firm, moist and delicious. They had a thin layer of cream cheese frosting that was a little sharp, and they were covered with red velvet crumbs.

Ghost cupcake at Wheatberry

The ghost sheet on this cupcake was made out of something marshmallowy, and there was a bright green buttercream frosting underneath it as guts. Its head is held up by a gumdrop.
